Success with coconut composites

Maybach, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen are currently employing coconut fibre nonwovens in natural latex-bonded composites. They are finding use as seat backs and head rests on a number of their vehicles.
In production since 2002 and subsequently improved with the introduction of Dual Fasertec in 2006 and Comfort Line FaserTec in 2011, Fasertec pads manufactured by Johnson Controls offer excellent climate and comfort performance.
