The largest composites exhibition in the world is relocating to a bigger venue and has a new name – JEC World.
Taking into account the growing demand of its exhibitors, the event will be able to increase its space at the controlled and monitored Parc Paris Nord Villepinte.
The exhibition and the conferences address the entire composites value chain, from raw materials to intermediates and above all, end-use industries, specifically aerospace, automotive, energy and sports and leisure.
JEC World will give room and space to these sectors, offering four ‘planets’, organised around a galleria of innovations but also discussions and networking areas.
“Composites have the power to change the world” said Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group president and CEO. “Last year, we launched Composites for Better Living, an expo within the exhibition in order to present composite objects that enhance the quality of our lives. In 2016, we will go further and explore how composites respond to the challenges of this century – energy, sustainability and environment. We will exhibit materials, technologies and products that are increasingly energy efficient, resource-saving and reusable.
“Our new format should reward and inspire our ever-growing numbers of visitors. JEC World 2016 is to be the place where visitors can find even more diverse and often unexpected perspectives on composites and can share their discoveries with others.”
